My experience with Nadi reading astrology!!! I had mentioned in my earlier post about Sage Agastya saying me during Nadi reading ‘ you have the blessing of a Mahavatar Satya Sai Baba’ much before I came to Sai worship. For me Nadi leaf reading was my marriage broker! One year before my marriage ,Nadi gave me clear details of my wife......Girl with dimple on face, long hair, might have seen earlier, father’s name, mother’s name, education, family ......living little away on the south side of my home but not far..exact location of her house.. Everything for identification! I had visited many Nadi reading centres with friends for understanding more about this astrology. Let me share a fun with you. Last year during my visit to many holy places in Tamil Nadu with my friend we also went to a Nadi centre near Vaidheeswaran Temple. My friend who is holding a very high position in an MNC wanted to know his future from Nadi. In one of the centres the reader was identifying his leaf . ‘You have two names..your father’s name is related to a God named ‘ having blue poison on the throat..’ (Lord Shiva). His father’s name was ‘Neelakandan’. He was surprised seeing the accuracy. But next question was ‘you are working as a salve’. My friend got upset and said ‘No’. Reader interpreted; ‘ you are working under some one’. My friend agreed with happiness!! Nadi astrology is an ancient art of astrology written by Sages of India thousands of years ago. Their discussions were written on palm leaves in an ancient Tamil script, which can now only be deciphered by Expert Nadi astrologers. The palm leaves are a set of highly organized manuscripts divided into chapters or Kandams. These Kandams serialize the various aspects of materialistic and spiritual life of an individual such as family, marriage, profession, wealth, luck, relationship between brothers & sisters etc., some chapter gives details about previous birth & sins, and committed problems & solutions. There are different Nadis named after the Rishis; Agasthya, Brigu, Brahma, Suka, Naradha etc. This doctrine of astrology was made famous by astrologers around the Vaitheeswaran Temple in the state of Tamil Nadu. Based on the thumb impression, Nadi leaves are identified. The process of finding the right leaf is carried out through a series of questions and answers related to the information on a bundle of leaves that the astrologer pulls out, based on the classification of the lines on your thumb print. In order for your exact leaf to be found, you need to respond "yes" to all the questions for a leaf. Navagrahas in Nadi Astrology All the human beings irrespective of country, religion, caste, status, rich, poor, language are controlled by Navagrahas (nine planets). They act on individuals as per the Karma (bad and good things done by human beings in this world) of each individual. The life of each individual is determined by their past karmas. Naadi Astrology is like a mirror of our karmas in past birth. These are not limited to individuals. I could see answering questions in the leaf of ‘Ulaka Nadi’ reading about the history of a hill and also how the Universe was originated Let me make a request to you not to believe all the centers since some of them misuse it for money making!!!
