My explanation as to why having a child with special needs is a miracle...Conversation ensues Me: Dorian what is that? Dorian: I bought a chocolate bar Me: oh yeah? Dorian: I bought it for Santa, I didnt know what he would like, but I figured it would be caramel and chocolate, but keep selena away from it Me: wow, he would get really fat if every kid would buy him something Dorian: Yep! you see at 11 1/2 years old Dorian still has spirit...so many children lose it early ..we want them to grow up...I dont mind that my 11 year old still believes in Santa..and in this house we always will. Having a child with special needs changes so much of your life. You are always afraid of every turn. You know how much help they need; however, they have so much to teach us....so much that we dont possess...the jingle bell still rings for Dorian....wish it did for us all
