My eyebrows twisted in a knot moment: It is strange how individuals profess themselves to be muslims n yet partake in e rituals of other religions. Even if it is just to share a meal (w non-muslim friends or non-muslim family members) to give thanks to their god just before Christmas. Tsk! There are many other ways to upkeep ties w non-muslim family members n friends. Think n reflect abt whose act n whose ritual u r immitating. Its hilariously sad really. When u tell them abt sunnah, these ppl hv problems abiding. Oh we wont want to appear as fanatical muslims n yet these ppl hv no qualms abt immitating e kufars. A lot of us love to claim we take e middle stance in practising Islam just to absolve ourselves from e guilt of living loose as we see fit. FYI Rasulullah ﷺ way was e middle. So whose middle way are u following??? Dont just be a muslim w ur physical, w ur heejab. U need to be muslim in ur heart, ur mind n in ur daily actions. I remind myself.. i remind u.
