My family believes in the village mentality.....It takes a village to raise our kids. That we as a society have moved away from that has and is causing ALOT (not all) of the social issues we have now. The conservatives blame single parenthood, the deeply religious blame, out of wedlock procreation, and tha govt play on the fears and concerns of the ppl for their own gain. Myaa and I went shopping, a lil while back and ran off in front of me, so i called her back to me, she lost all hearing, a male shopper exiting the store, sternly told her Myaa, go back by aunty, now she listened.......now imagine how aghast, other shoppers were that I letting th man talk to de chile so, how i letting ppl rag up my child, i need to put him in his place........etc MOST of them disregarded the fact that JhMyaa was doing something WRONG....and the concerned shopper as well within his place to correct her.......he didnt spank, her, neither did her shout at her or berate her, he instructed her to do the right thing....... what exactly was wrong with being told to do right?, and that was a simple instruction, what happens when its major shit taking place an she needs guidance...... this way she learns to listen to others, she will learn to discern the bullshit from the truth, she will learn that even away from home, she will be held accountable for her actions and mummy, daddy and aunty, are not the only ones she have to take heed of..........sheeeeeesh a bit long-winded, but there it is Tennille Carlene Lemessy-George MaziMar Porther Dee Carrera
