My family celebrates birthdays like most - cake, candles presents. We also have a tradition of celebrating what we call Last Day. It is a time to reflect on the struggles and successes from the year, and it is a chance to make goals for the future. In this manner, we approach 2015 as a Last Year celebration for the National Park Service who will be commemorating 100 years in 2016. This upcoming year will be an exciting time for our Park partners, Jewel Cave National Monument and Wind Cave National Park as they prepare for the Centennial.
