My family is full of such beautiful women that I ALWAYS felt like the ugly duckling growing up. I was not a big fan of mirrors. I always thought my teeth and lips were too big, my eyebrows too bushy, i have too much hair, i have scars, all my fat goes right to my belly. It wasnt till I was 39 that I thought I might be beautiful. One day, i was walking in the mall past a mirror and didnt recognize myself. I thought...wow, shes pretty and looks like we could be related and did a double take. For the first time, i didnt scrutinize my reflection, i just appreciated what i had. Ive never strived for beauty, Ive always strived for goodness. Whatever the outside looks like, I know I have a beautiful spirit. Hoping all my friends appreciate the awesomeness they have too. If not, call me, Ill tell you are beautiful.
