My father Johnny Martinez. Hes not gone yet but diminishing very quickly. For those who do know & those who dont but have known the family for ages; here it is. My father was diagnosed w/ dementia 5 yrs ago. He has lived in a nursing home since then being well cared for. Overtime his kidneys have failed him so has spent the past couple years on dialysis. He has stopped chewing his food & stopped communicating. Most of u know how saucy my dad once was lol. Monday we made the decision to stop treatment & let him decide for himself when hes ready to go. Making him comfortable but his days are limited.
