My father, brother and I are all decorated military veterans, serving from the jungles of North Africa, in Italy and China, to the Middle East, Greenland and Southeast Asia. We were never called upon to make the ultimate sacrifice, but on this day especially we remember our fallen comrades. To you non-veterans, never forget that the freedom you enjoy, often without thinking about how precious that is, have that freedom because of vets like us. Today especially, if you know or just see a vet, a quiet thank you is all we ever asked
