My father sits on the board of ARC House Cancer Charity in Dublin and has been asked to sell some tickets for a major fashion show in the RDS on Mon 10/03 that they are holding to raise some much needed funds. ARC House is a charity that is totally reliant on donations and is run by people who mainly offer their free time. Anyone interested in tickets let me know! ARC Cancer Support is celebrating 20 years providing support to men and women living with cancer and those who care for them. To mark this occasion ARC are hosting a major Fashion Show on 10th March in the RDS Main Hall which is being produced by the eminent fashion consultant Eddie Shanahan with the work of 20 leading Irish designers being showcased on the night. This Fashion Extravaganza will be the biggest and most extravagant show in Ireland in over 20 years and we are delighted to say that all proceeds go to ARC Cancer Support Centre. The innovative and well known Irish designers featuring their pieces are as follows – · John Rocha (30 years in fashion) · Louise Kennedy (30 years in fashion) · Richard Lewis (50 years in fashion) · Heidi Higgins (the rising star of Irish fashion) · Aideen Bodkin (contemporary classics & beautiful fabrics) · Mark T. Burke (creating special collection / millinery) · Lisa Ryder (printed bags & silk scarves) · Helen Cody (Specializing in bespoke couture pieces) · Delphine Grandjouan (creating special collection) · Helen Cody (Tatler designer of the year 2002, worked with French Vogue) · Tula Harrington (creating special collection / jewellery) · KDK (beautiful cashmere wraps, great success at “Create” 2013) · Niamh O’Neill (winner Collection of Year 2013 Irish Fashion Innovation Awards) · Honor Fitzsimons (edgy knits & separates) · Lisa Shawgi (elegant layered knitwear in cashmere & merino ) · Natalie B. Coleman (clients include Mary J.
