My fathers FIRST wife died of chest cancer... Just before I was born in 1988... The year was 1987... Place was Lahore Pakistan... Sunny day... Jamila had been fighting chest pain for ten years... She was always loyal to my old brother Khurram. Khurram is nearly 50 years old now... Like twice my age. When Jamila died my father married her younger sister Iqbal. Iqbal my mother is just under 5 foot tall. A humble woman who loves to give. Brown skinned with a cheerful face and brown eyes. My mother gave birth to me on Dec 1988... Within 40 days of Jamila death my dad got married to my mum... Can you imagine the struggles they went through? Some people mocked them.. Rumours started to spread... Harsh assumptions were made... Was this a setup? Was this planned? Many questions were the talking point of our family... My parents nearly had a divorce... They kept fighting and shouting at each other. First few years of their marriage was mega tough... Me, a young child. This was hard to see. Even now i remember some fights. Emotionally painful. Heart gets nervous thinking about them... Only Allah saved their marriage... I could never imagine my parents leaving each other. I love them so much. My father is now 72 years old. My hero. Mother is 63 years old. My heart. They are my keys to Jannah. To legacy. But with patience they hung in there... They have gone through so much... Many hardships... Tears... Its sweet when my dad sings to my mum... Then ONE life changing event happened... It changed my parents life... It brought them happiness... This ONE scene changed my life too.. Made me smile... This 1 incident was in Manchester... Year was 1992... It made my parents legacy focused... What was this ONE event? How did it change our life suddenly? Why did this one event take place? Did someone say something? Or was it something revolutionary? Well close... Its every parents dream... Every childs hope... It was so unexpected yet a miracle from Allah... This ONE event caught my mum by surprise. This ONE single but powerful thing was... It was highlighted as the B_____ of R____! Date was June 24th 1992... Guess what the R is? Youll be amazed. B is simple and it will shock you to the core...
