My favorite Thought-For-Thought, modern-language translation of the Bible. But dont forget to pair it with either the KJV or ASV (not NASB) to stay true on a Word-For-Word basis according to the Received Text. I would not trust the other/modern sources provided to us in condition to-good-to-be-true from Catholic sources; i.e. Codex Vaticanus (released 1859) – from the Vatican c350 CE, Codex Sinaiticus (1859) – another from the Vatican c350 CE, Codex Alexandrinus (1909) – From Alexandria, Egypt via Constantinople c440 CE. Non-Vatican manuscripts differ in only minor ways: Spelling, Grammar, or Word choice Vatican manuscripts do have greater variation: –Sentences (verses) –Paragraphs –Passages (chapters)
