My favorite movies in English and the number does not mean ranking! Each film has its own standards and effects and I choose the best of it. 1. MATRIX trilogy- the film which depicts material world, life and things made by life- in philosophical context. The movie was the anchor for my experiments with many things including precognitive dreams! 2. Hobbit & Lord of the Rings- I put both in single basket since the story is a single one running in sequels. I felt like a hobbit in cave, in desert,on top of mountain and elsewhere, so beautiful and the film lived up to the novel! 3. Harry Potter- die hard fan, not just because of the scar we have in common, but also the theme, mainly from childhood to adolescence 4. Pirates of the Caribbean- Johnny depp @ his best and the triology, (sorry the 4th part is not up to my standard!), is too fascinating entertainment! 5. Devils Advocate- what a film, and what a performance by Al Pacino! I am yet reviewing other films so as to end up as top-ten kinda list. These movies reflect my taste and my standard. Regarding Tamil movies, I keep my fingers crossed! (the lesser said the better!)
