My favorite nephew sent what has been called the most expensive - TopicsExpress

My favorite nephew sent what has been called the most expensive honey in the world. It is expensive (I looked up Yemeni Honey), and it is good, but I dont think it is any better than that made by MY bees (unfounded Ozarkian pride?). Ancient Sidr trees have grown wild in the mountainous Hadramout region of Yemens Doan Valley for centuries. The Sidr tree, also known as Jujube or Christs Thorn, was an essential component used to complete many of the famous construction projects undertaken by the ancient Egyptians. Today, thousands of beekeepers gather in Hadramout twice per year to venture up into the rugged mountains to collect their prized Sidr Honey.
