My feelings about the riots. While I am not condoning rioting; have we forgotten the Boston Tea party? Have we forgotten that when people have nothing left to lose, they tend to get testy. We are facing a war in this country; and it is not against a group of terrorists, or an evil army marching on us from far away. There is a war against the poor in this country. While the rich and powerful plunder the resources of this planet with no foresight as to future generations, the poor have been disinfranchised from this planet. My planet.Your planet. This place belongs to us. Not to a elite few. Yet a very few have murdered the old growth trees, they have bled the earth dry, poisoned our water, polluted the oceans so that the fish that use to come to our doorsteps; are now vacuumed up thousands of miles out to sea; and when we eat these fish, they make us sick. Radiation flows deep in our oceans covering the entire planet. The emissions from burning the life blood of this planet, (oil), has altered the very climate. A climate, we depend upon to live; as does every other creature on this ball of dirt. The bees have nearly been wiped out by pesticide usage, and the GMO crops with their applications of herbicides have made the ground unfit for any other crop. Would you like me to continue? The rape and pillaging of my planet by the rich powerful elite concerns me; angers me to a far greater degree then the rioting done by poor people who have finally had enough.
