My fellow Christians, there is something I am not comfortable with that is creeping into the Church, this thing called Idol, 'American Idol, African Idol, Music Idol'. The word Idol is an image or other material object representing a diety [god] to which religious worshipped is addressed. Can you imagine some of those called Idol, are seen in our TVs, internets national networks, nicked, stripped, smoking etc. What an error. See Isaiah 47:8-10. Today entertainers are not different from Maria that a scientist made an evil robotic version of, in the film called Metropolis. Maria perform at night clubs, the scientist uses her to control the men of the city manipulate them. Whenever she starts to dance the men are hypnotized, they lust after her, and falls into a demonic trance. Maria uses all types of dance moves until her audience are fully under her spell. Is there anything different from todays singers who mesmerize, hypnotize this young generation? I pray that the Church should separate the worldly things from the Spiritual things. 1 John 2:15,16 Says: Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world, If any man love the world, the love of the father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life is not of the father, but is of the world.
