My fellow Gambians, its about time we wake-up after 29 and 20 - TopicsExpress

My fellow Gambians, its about time we wake-up after 29 and 20 consecutive years of failed Government. How long are we going to be in denial? The ALLAH fearing people are the ones who speak the Truth for His sake, without sugarcoating it. This is not Politics, but the livelihood of the voiceless poor Gambians tamed for 20 years. We can be lazy readers, but please take the time to read the many sad stories. A poor Nation like ours, can donate US $500,000 to Sierra Leone, to fight Ebola (many irresponsible Africans refuse to stop consuming non recommended meat, the main cause of this deadly contagious virus), whilst many of our fellow citizens in The Gambia are in dire need of Medical Assistance Overseas, from illnesses, no fault of their own. The President also donated 12 brand new vehicles to Guinea Bissau, June this year. Yes we are Muslims, and 77 Gambians will benefit from the good gesture to perform the Hajj this year, but how was this money earned? Where are the funds coming from? We have the poorest healthcare system, yet we spend lavishly on many meaningless celebration, the foreign musician enablers and our own parasites will continue to benefit from the illegal rewards, whilst many innocent Gambians continue to die in vain. Is this the way to fight corruption as claimed 20 years ago? The Gambia does not belong to any individual, hypocrisy is the reason why we have been tamed, and continue to suffer. I dont need no fake profile to VOICE THE TRUTH, the snitches can go ahead and do their dirty work, as a Talibeh Baye I fear no one but my Creator ALLAH Subhana Wa Taala. Dont mistaken my respect as fear, my life was predestined since creation, If I never step my foot on Gambian soil, so be it. You either live or die, and death is a must for any one who taste life. Am dead already to the ones that feel my talking point. This is what I call Samba Alaar to the bone, take care of others, when your own people are dying, innocent Muhammad Hydara (RA), the WAA BANJUL GROUP gave their efforts and financial aid. Now its Malla Manneh, Momodou Camara, Muhammed Sanneh, and the many other poor Gambians who have no where to turn to for help. Theres not a day go by, when I read The Gambia News Observer, at the bottom of the column, here we go again, Royal Victoria Hospital (new name Edward Francis Small Teaching Hospital), cant cure a thing, the same way I lost my big brother Alhagie in 1981, from minor fractured leg to amputation, at the age of 14. Why cant we feel the pain of our innocent people oppressed? This is very sad. I was at boiling point when I read this post shared by my jarbaat Babou Njie Sallah, from sister Matty Jobe. THANK YOU FAMILY AND FRIENDS On behalf of Team Malla Manneh, I am pleased to announce that your efforts have contributed to raising $1319 (D56,717.00) online and D18750 in local collections in The Gambia. Malla is due to undergo treatment in Senegal for a period of 4 months. The money raised will be used for her transportation and local needs before and after travel. Malla’s treatment in Senegal will be funded by the Max Foundation. For those interested in continuing to support Malla on her journey to wellness, she has a bank account with Eco Bank, kindly inbox me if you would like those details. A special thank you to Team Malla that included Monalisa Camara, Amie Dibba, Fatou Sowe, to our wonderful partners Charity Fund for Hope, Babou Njie Sallah and Haddy Mbowe and to each and every one of you that helped secure the funds that Malla and her family can use towards her cancer treatment. Malla Manneh and her family are grateful. The family of a ten-month-old baby of Brikama New Town is seeking urgent overseas treatment for their daughter Ida Kah who has developed cough and fast breathing since her delivery. The mother to the helpless baby said her daughter had developed the illness some few weeks after her delivery. “As a mother, I am very much distressed with the existing condition of my daughter as her illness continues to magnify,’’ she said. According to her, they are appealing to concerned humanitarian institutions, philanthropists both outside and within the country, as well as other concerned bodies to help them ferry her daughter abroad for an urgent medical treatment. Mrs Jeng further noted that since the situation, her daughter had been in midpoint. Hence she had to use the media to seek medical assistance for her daughter. Mustapha Jeng, uncle to baby Ida, stated that they at the family level had done their best and little quota towards curing of his niece, saying that since her delivery, the family had indeed tried all their best but could change the child’s condition for the better. “We are now soliciting assistance from any institutions - government, private institutions and individuals - to help us ferry Ida overseas for a decent treatment,’’ he noted. Momodou Camara, 49-year-old man and a resident of Nemakunku is in urgent need of assistance to undergo overseas medical treatment. According to the medical report from the Edward Francis Small Teaching Hospital, Momodou was presented at the surgical outpatient department with a six month history of abdominal pain at the right upper quadrant, a mass at the site. He has no pervious history of hepatitis. According to the medical report, during examination he was not pale, anicteric, no peripheral lymphadenopathy and no edema. The report further indicated that the patient can seek overseas medical treatment. Anyone willing to help Momodou Camara can contact the following numbers: (+220) 9924638, 6327313, 2255404. Gambia: Who Will Help Modou Lamin Touray? Modou Lamin Touray, a six-year-old boy, residing at Faji Kunda is in need of financial aid to undergo an oversees treatment. Gambia: 16-Year-Old Boy Needs Overseas Treatment Buba Trawally, a 16-year-old boy and a resident of Yundum is in urgent need of assistance to undergo an overseas treatment. The list goes on, I want my fellow Gambians to go to bed with this post and images, wake-up in the morning, be honest with themselves, and tell me if this is acceptable. Crying and silence aint gonna help though.
