My final day at Lakewind sound studios, Caoe Breton today, its been an amazing week working on the new Natalie MacMaster and Donnell Leahy album produced by a massive real legend of music production Bob Ezrin whose work spans so much I cannot list here but Pink Floyd The Wall, Kiss, all Alice Coopers albums, Taylor Swift and now Nat and Donnell. He is an amazing man and person to work with as is his engineer the wizard Justin Cortelyou they are just so humble and genial. Great cast of musos Mac Morin, Jamie Gatti, Mark Kelso, Sabin Jacques, Rachel Aucoin, album out tba soon. I was playing in my booth directly opposite Bob and Justin and I can tell you to say I was nervous playing guitar (their usual regular session man in Nashville is the championpicker Brian Sutton!;) Fred Lavery and Shep and Natalies folks are all so lovely at studio.
