My final thoughts about our brave soldiers in Vietnam on this - TopicsExpress

My final thoughts about our brave soldiers in Vietnam on this Memorial Day. It has taken me 40 years to get to this moment where I can openly discuss our history. As you can see, it is still difficult reflecting on a tough and long journey paid for by the sacrifices of so many. There is a sense of urgency as we now have become that bridge between the soldiers from yesterday and their collective memory for tomorrow. As a father and a member of a generation who benefited from their sacrifice, I carry an immense obligation to continue to to let the Phamilies know that their sacrifices were not in vain. The only way I can repay my debt to our fallen is to continue to live a life of service and to hold positions of public trust with honor, integrity, character and most importantly, humility.
