My final thoughts on the whole Zendaya situation: Looking back at - TopicsExpress

My final thoughts on the whole Zendaya situation: Looking back at it in retrospect, although she didnt exactly bear a striking resemblance to Aaliyah, it is quite appalling how a lot of black folks didnt want her to play Aaliyah, because, (according to them), Zendaya wasnt black enough. Upon analyzation of this whole fiasco, the only logical and valid reason why this movie shouldnt go into production is if Aaliyahs family doesnt give the OK on it (in which, theyre clearly against it). Other than that, the garbage about Zendaya not being black enough holds no water. It is 2014 A.D., I thought we had gotten over the whole light skin/dark skin crap? Zendayas father is a so-called African-American, and you are what your father is. Her mother being of the nation of Edom (so-called Caucasian or white race) means nothing in terms of nationality. Zendaya IS BLACK, and is a Jew of the tribe of Judah; a JUDITE of the Nation of Israel, case closed!
