My first attempt at cooking of any kind at 765 and I almost had the fire department responding!! All I was trying to do was boil some eggs!! I put the water and eggs in the pot, set the burner to high and walked away. I started smelling something awful and looked toward the kitchen and saw smoke billowing from the area of the stove! The guy who lived here before me must have left food particles all over the burners and I was cooking it off for him!! Thank goodness I had a big fan handy or else . . .
