My first bills out of the gate for the 2015-2016 Session: (1) Creation of an Independent Counsel to root out breaches of public trust (2) Increasing firearm rights (3) Grants to support regional police departments (4) Preempt local governments from mandating paid employee leave policies on private businesses (5) Ensure the commonwealth has uniform and consistent environmental regulations (6) Increasing access to childhood immunizations (7) Reducing the Corporate Net Income Tax to increase private sector job growth (8) Constitutional amendment to reduce the size of the General Assembly, increase lengths of terms for House and Senate members, set term limits, set a minimum number of Session days, and clarify a person convicted of a felony offense is ineligible to serve.
