My first brush with a possible tornado yesterday was thrilling enough to get my adrenaline rushing. This persistent cacophony of rumbling thunderstorm which sounded unusually different was eerily unsettling throughout as I was store hopping with my daughter for some essentials. For my first encounter with a tornado like situation, I absolutely couldnt suss out mother natures warning that was tapping all the while, storm was surging, though the weather emergency alert missed to buzz my phone.....a probable mischanced glitch. While waiting in a store hoping for the storm which was now in its full fury, to peter out, I felt a deep sense of anxiety common to people in regular tornado zones. Watching out likely spiraling winds and blistering thunder shower, I realized that we-all four members of the family are caught in different directions when sensitivity of time called for togetherness. During my seemingly never-ending wait with my daughter.....I was on and off plugged in with my other half who was striving to drive his way back home through the relentless wind and rain while my little darling pooch was braving the storm all by himself at home. Fortunately as the tornado warning tapered off to just thunderstorm I quickly wheeled back home. Driving back my eyes scoured the twigs & leaves strewn roads which clearly was a tell-tale sign of not just what chronicled but also how devastating it could have been or had been to some unfortunates. Reflecting back I wondered if it was just a chanced or climatically altered occurrence in a non-tornado region.
