My first cut in almost 5 months. I almost forgot how much I truly love riding my John Deere. It is 2 hours of riding pleasure and 2 hours to reflect on all of my journeys. It is amazing how my mind completely escapes the current and drifts off to memory after memory, some recent some long ago. Some things are so clear in my mind and so funny that I will laugh as if it were happening in front of me. Then as I ride I will peer into the billowing clouds and in my mind I will see Codys face and my heart will skip a beat and I will lose my breath for an instant, and tears will start to drop. Until I think of one of the many funny things that Cody had done and the tears will stop and a smile returns. Before ya know it im on my last pass and the lawn is looking clean and sharp, the way I like it... I will always have so many memories on the property from the nitely trips in 1999 from coral springs to Lake Worth when the boys were 5 and 9! They loved the big piles of dirt and throwing rocks in the lake. I remember I would turn my head away for a quick moment and turn around to cody pissin on the ground!! I will always try to keep the good things on top and the bad one in the rear, but we will always have a piece of our heart at Lago Del Sol.
