My first game last night was also a losing fight, but also a very enjoyable one. With all the cosmic Marvel and DC games happening, Carljoe and I both felt like we missed doing streets-level fighting with relatively normal characters, so we decided on running a 400-point streets-level game - Carl ran his Marvel Knights team of Moon Knight, Swiftkick, Punisher, and Daredevil versus my Animals team of 75-point AVX Wolverine and five Dogpools, on Ras Al Ghuls Lazarus Pit map. The map was too tight for me to do a proper pack hounding, so my pack was only working on half-pack-power throughout the fight. I sacrificed two dogs unnecessarily in an effort to herd the Marvel Knights into position, but once they got at least two of them in place - Daredevil and Short Round - Wolverine managed to do an assisted Berserker Barrage, managing to kill Daredevil, although in two to three turns, Kwai Shang Kane kicked the bejeezus out of Wolverine quite effectively, and quickly right after, Big Trouble in Little China, Punisher, and Moon Knight all decided to kick and shoot a poor little street dog wearing a cute tight red jacket all in its lonesome trying to scrounge around a secret temple/resurrection refuge under the Gobi Desert looking for food for his family, etc etc, but not before biting Moon Knight right in the balls, sending him to his knees, his life into shambles, and down to his last two clicks. A futile act, but one Moon Knight will never forget for the rest of his life, now that he always has to sit on the toilet every time he needs to piss.
