My first glimpse of Bertie, before he became Bertie, in September 2009, advertised with this picture in Wiltshire. Upon seeing him there, filthy and neglected, something happened. As they say, I saw him, loved him, bought him, insured him on the spot and drove him back without a thought. Ok, we broke down three times at Longbridge island with a mile queue behind us, but arriving back eventually, I got out with a huge smile on my face. Today, after repairing the alternator mounting, he fired up instantly and now the drive belt is taut and in line..shame about The Butty Run, but there will be others.. and he`s a lot cleaner now. :-)
