My first husband and I have been divorced nearly 2 1/2 decades and Lord knows it was rough at first. But I took some divorced parents class and the one thing that lady said was love your children more than you hate your ex. That made so much sense to me and that is the way we have dealt with each other to raise our daughters. It wasnt always easy but it s so worth it. Anyway, Carl is in town for the weekend to visit the girls and my dudes. And yes, hes staying at our house (he has even stayed here with his wife at the time lol) We all sat down and had dinner, been playing cards, laughing and joking and having a grand time! Tomorrow we plan to go dancing! I sure wish more parents could aside their differences for the childrens sake! It makes life so much easier and it definitely makes for happier kids!!
