My first job in radio was in Seattle at KTW, downtown in the Northern Life Tower building, a Christian AM and FM station operated from a single Gates board on the 15th floor. I started working the 4 PM to midnight shift, but quickly was promoted to daytime jock, 8 AM to 4 PM, with 12 potts on the board, left for FM and right for AM. We mostly had pre-recorded 15 and 30 minute religious programs such as Haven of Rest and the Biola Hour and I did a 1 hour talk show every afternoon called Point of View...plus a 1 hour record show on both stations at the same time using 3 turn-tables.
