My first kiss meant a lot to me when I was in junior high. My friends teased me and dared me to kiss him. After so much hesitation I finally did. Now a university student, it doesnt even cross my mind. There seems to be alot more to focus on than a kiss that happened years ago. Besides, we had both grown up and gone our own ways. That didnt seem like such a big deal anymore. Until today. The first boy I ever had a crush on commit suicide. The same age as me. Young. This has made me realize that more than ever, youth (and people in general) really need help. If you are struggling, there is someone out there who would love to help. The first girl you kissed, or a brother, a coworker, a friend can and should always lend a helping hand. Rest in peace, Damien.
