My first posting. Mashed potatoes and carrots. North India Rajasthani Marwari-styled Butter-nut Squash and beans, Fresh salad with olives. All on locally made ceramics and elephant tray. What makes this so extra special is the potatoes and carrots are our own freshly grown vegetables. The Butter-nut squash is stored and grown in our garden. In the salad is lettuce leaves, Pak Choi and grated carrots with coriander ALL from our garden freshly grown in January 2015. We make big endeavours to source all our products locally. We grow most of our vegetables ourselves, in fact on Radhastami 2014 ALL the offering was from our garden and ALL the flowers. We have a local ceramic producer and a local wood turner and this year we are going to get our own Bees from the local Bee Keeper where we get all our Honey. We have been getting Milk from a cow protection project to make our own dairy products too. And we have a local water powered stone grinding flour mill which produces wholesome organic stone ground flour, this makes beautiful Paraathas, Chapaatis, Samosas and Bread.
