My first question is, how did I miss someone doing a remake of this? My second question is, how the hell did this post without my remarks, making me have to type the damn things again? My third question is, What happened to the animated film version? I remember seeing a clip of it on a Cable documentary about The War of the Worlds. I really wanted to see the whole thing on the big screen, darn it. My observation is, I have long fantasized about playing the Artilleryman. Make no mistake, he is bleeding bonkers. He is stark raving. But bound up in his rants and raves are things that I either completely understand or agree with. Man is born in freedom but he soon becomes a slave/In cages of convention from the cradle to the grave... Think of all the poverty, the hatred, and the lies/And imagine the destruction of all that you despise... The guy is nucking futs, but I get what hes saying and I have at times fantasized about playing this crazy role. Now, on to Amazon to find out about the remake of one of my favorite albums, whose existence I have only just discovered...
