My first report (May 25) for Vigybu when I was in Afghanistan. Hello from Afghanistan everyone! I have found some like minded fitness buddies here in the sandbox and even though we have to deal with heat, sand/dust and lack of equipment we still manage to get our workouts in. We have gyms we can go to but times are limited and they can get very crowded given how many military personal are based here and the limited size of the gyms. So myself and about 10 others are doing workouts in the retro yard. We have to be creative and include plenty of body weight exercises but we always get a good workout in. Here is an example of the last workout we did: 15 Pull-ups, Burpees & Squats then 100yd sprit, 11 reps of the same & run, 7 reps of the same & run, 3 reps of the same & run, then back up the ladder (7, 11 & 15 again with runs after each). We did squats holding 30 lb jugs of White Grease! If we can get it done in a retro yard, you should have no problem at your gym or home! Take care, Peace & Health, Coach V
