My first three months in the life of a Township Supervisor, has been a real eye opener. Let me tell ya, things are not as they seem. Thank God, He gave me the necessary stomach for all of this. Because In order to keep up with things, that path is not always straight, not always clear. And its amazing what a little bit of power, will do to some people. This is just Local gov t...no wonder theres so much wrong with Washington. If youre inclined to pray for government leaders, please pray for all of your local leaders. Local government contains more unseen wrongness, unlevel playing fields, selfishness, and self serving decision making, than at any level of government. Right about now, these words from Gods Words are some that I need to hold on to. Who may ascend the hill of the Lord? Who may stand in His Holy place? He who has Clean Hands and a Pure Heart, who does not lift up his soul to an idol, for swear by what is FALSE. He will Receive Blessing from The Lord and Vindication from God his Savior. Psalms 24:3-5 No matter what, I must maintain a value system that is pleasing to my Lord, pray for continual protection from Him, and stay in the shadow of His wings!
