My foreign language students had an assignment to read through all of the artifacts they have constructed over the course of our semester and select 10 that they believe represent the top most important ideas, concepts, experiences that weve had as a learners, in other words how we got to now. Each had 10 items, which they then put in a pool of a collective of 70 items and then they engage in creating a domain analysis of those 70 items and how they were related to each other. Their final assignment is to now take the top domains that emerged and find evidence in their performance over the semester be at work class participation etc. and make visible the ways in which they care and understand those domains. I have the best students!
