My former sales job afforded me the opportunity to travel worldwide and wherever I traveled my running shoes went with me. Barcelona Spain. Cancun. Puerto Rico. Hawaii. California and the French Quarters of New Orleans. I ran all their streets. And two years ago, I resigned that part of my life and assumed that chapter had come to a close. Till about 45 minutes ago. When I realized I packed my shoes on a field trip to Carlisle for girls soccer. The weather is perfect and I have hours to waste so waste not. And in His goodness, the person of The Lord reminds me I still travel and I still run and breathe in the essence of the people I pass. I soak in their culture...even when there culture is only 45 minutes from my own. Its all about perspective. And I will choose to see.
