My frend and classmate, posted this as her default profile picture. I thought it was a beautifully edited photo, that she likely took up here in Maine, considering we live near the beach. When I commented on it she followed up with this link... The fact that I mistook this photo for something on my front door made the human crisis of whats happening in palestine literally hit home. Kudos to the artist for making this more real to me, for reminding me that the world exists outside of medical school, and inspiring me to stay passionate about doing what I can to combat the inequalities and injustices happening in the world. Thank you @Amir Schiby and Irma Zahra for the swift kick in the pants.
