My friend Ellen Price challenged me to list ten books which have been particularly meaningful to me. Ive listed some series but highlighted one if forced to choose one of the series. I did not list any books if Ive seen the movie but never read the book, no matter who much I loved the movie. Here they are in no particular order: 1. The Bible (Hoping this isnt cheating because, yes, Ive read it from cover to cover.) 2. Harry Potter series (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows) 3. The Chronicles of Narnia (The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe) 4. The Sherlock Holmes stories by Conan Doyle (The Sign of the Four) 5. Team of Rivals - Doris Kerns Goodwin 6. The James Herriott series (All Creatures, Great and Small) 7. The Inheritance Cycle - Christopher Paolini (Eragon) 8. The Lost World - Conan Doyle 9. Moby Dick 10. Lord of the Rings trilogy (The Return of the King) Im not picking on anyone else but if youd like to do this feel free. Its kind of fun.
