My friend Kelly McFall is opening a restaurant in Palm Springs at the El Paseo Shopping Center in September. While she and her family have invested their own funds to open, she has had difficulty in raising the remaining funds needed and has launched a Kickstarter Campaign to close the gap in their funding. If you are not familiar with Kickstarter, it is a new way of raising capital for entrepreneurs who may have difficulty through traditional means. Also, it is really an easy way for people to invest even small amounts of money to help worthy businesses. But, on Kickstarter you need to raise the entire amount specified in certain timeframe. Kelly is trying to raise $50K by July 26th and if Kelly does not reach her goal by then nothing is funded. I am reaching out to you to consider helping Kelly in any way that you can because she is the most capable, deserving person I know and I know that her business will be a success; she just needs a little help. On the right hand side of the page, you will see the various rewards ways to contribute (that come with rewards). There is also an option to send in as little as a $1, every bit counts. In addition please note that currently these are just pledges no money is charged to anyone unless the project is fully funded and not until after July 26th. Kickstarter sends notifications and will keep individual backers updated as to when the funds would be debited from their accounts.
