My friend Rohan I took a bus and reached FORUM where 3 of us had planned to watch a movie. It was a 7pm show and 2 of us reached at 645 waiting for our dearest friend Rohan. The problem with Rohan is: God gave him everything, except the sense of direction. I think he is a reincarnation of Cristopher Colombus, but a slightly dumber version. Colombus lost his way and discovered America, Rohan loses his way and says Terimaaka Rohans Background: 1. He used to go jogging everyday from home and never come back, coz he couldnt find his way back. We used to find him in some random parks in the afternoon. He is the reason God created a TreadMill. 2. He stays at a single room PG, coz if there are more rooms, he generally gets confused. He once stayed at a 3BHK and used to call the owner everyday asking him directions to go to the bedroom. The owner paid him 1 lakh to vacate the place. 3. We did a background research and realized this problem is hereditary. His Dad also has the same problem. His Dad is in the real estate and had built this 200 house society with all the amenities. He then came back home to celebrate. But now, he is not able to go back to this society. Since then everybody is searching for this building. I recently saw an ad which said White color building with swimming pool missing - People who find it will get 1 BHK free. Some investors had invested in the project and Rohans dad owes them an awful lot. They are trying to find him from 1 year. But its really hard to tell whether they are trying to find him or he is trying to find them... 4. We recently got his entire upper body tattoed with directions to get back home from work and vice versa. But even then he used to get lost. There are a couple of times we had to take the help of the local police. So finally, we hired Google to draw the entire Bangalore map on his body using BhooGOL Maps. Then one fine day, he didnt come home for 2 days and we found him in Hyderabad. WTF. I was convinced that Rohan was not gonna make it. So I thought I should Keep it Simple. My friend Mr P and I were at FORUM.So I asked Rohan where he was, and told him not to move an inch from there and that Mr P would come to pick him up. I sent Mr P to take Rohan and come back. After 20 minutes, Mr P called and said.. Where the hell is FORUM man? I was forced to believe that its just not Rohan. The issue is something very deep. But I wasnt gonna give up. I thought my analytics background should help me guide them to FORUM. I tried all possible landmarks first. Nothing seemed to work and Mr P was like, Dude landmarks are confusing both of us.... Call back in some time. I got totally pissed and this is how it ended. Mr P : How do I come dude? Me : Can you see the moon from where you are? Mr P: Yes Me: Keep walking till you cant see it and then walk in the opposite direction. Somehow, they finally reached the theatre at 9 for the 7pm movie. They called me asking where I was sitting. I explained it to them. It took them another 30 minutes to find me inside the theatre. The movie was over when they finally found me.. What a day....
