My friend Shellie Giddings has given me the number 6, unlike my daughter who tried to give me a 14. So, here goes! 1. One of my first memories was when I was about 3 yrs. old. I had on a little pink pant suit and was feeling very pretty. My uncle Bob was here visiting, and made a comment about my fine, blonde hair. I thought he was complimenting me, so I fluffed my hair and commented, It is pretty, isnt it? He almost fell off my grandmothers porch, laughing! 2. My dad took me fishing at the creek. We were fishing with worms. I kept raising the hook out of the water, to check on the worm. My dad said, You will never catch a fish, if you dont leave the hook in the water. I told him I was just checking to see if the worm was blooding. He fell back on the bank laughing! 3. I strongly dislike caterpillars and wooly worms. When I was in the 4th grade, my sisters boyfriend threw a wooly worm on my back. I never forgave him, and when he died of an accident, years later, that was the first thing I thought of. 4. I almost got arrested for taking pictures at a Richard Marks concert. 5. I got to have a date with a teenage idol, Larry Collins, who used to appear with his sister Laura, on the Ed Sullivan show. 6. I received a kiss from another teenage idol, Fabian, and keep his autographed picture on my armoire. 7. This is a freebie. I stupidly thought I could ride a motorcycle in the Bahamas, three years ago. I not only wrecked, but cut a 3 inch gash in my leg, and spent the rest of the day in the ships infirmary, getting sutured. My family will NEVER let me forget it!
