My friend Stephen shared this, and I added the following comment: Stephen, this sounds pretty great! So, I had to look into how they could do this. What I found: Denmark, unlike the US, has a trade surplus which pulls money INTO their country. (The US used to have a surplus.) They have this surplus primarily because they mine and sell Oil, Mineral Fuels, Iron, Steel, Nonferrous Metals, and Chemicals... The US could start doing this at anytime - but it would drive the Green Coalition berserk (dont you just love that that word starts with Coal?)
