My friend Susi Meredith wrote: Oden & dear Saints: Thanks again for remembering me in prayer over the past couple weeks! After watching the Lord open widows and doors and meet my financial needs so unexpectedly, I was floating in clouds of praise! Then, suddenly I got a high fever and was down, I mean flat, in bed, with the flu since last Tuesday! Had the fever for 4 days and was pretty out of it. Once it broke, I was so weak I couldnt work until today. Missed 6 days of work. As always, the Lord provided all Ive needed. Caring neighbors & friends bringing over soups and liquid herbal remedies, groceries, a vaporizer, juices, oranges and pet care from my big brother, and an unexpected $200 gift sent in the mail! Hallelujah. Gosh, I was SO glad to see my guitar & vocal students today. And my bosses at both jobs were great about finding subs to cover all my hours last week and over the weekend. My new boss has offered me hours caregiving on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day (overnights at time and a half pay!) to help me out. God is GOOD. His lovingkindness is everlasting. We are His People and the sheep of His pasture! May He bless each of you as you celebrate His birth and spend time with your families. May you have opportunities to share Christ with those who need Him and bring His light into dark places everywhere you go. Youve certainly brightened my life! Love to you all. ~Susi
