My friend and sister Pamelyn Caldwell spoke n all indigenous people who honor Mother Earth. N free to live our culture without judgment! To much separation n not enough acceptance of each other. Y perpetuate the wrongness of the past anymore. Its not about being right or sitting in the past of ugly wrongs bestowed. Never forget so that we dont repeat that ugly history. Or bestow it other innocent people! Drop those ugly rocks... So that we can live lighter in our soul heart mind n bodies! All of mother Earth has recorded the ugly imprints of man n now purging n warning us!!! Will we as all indigenous people continue to ignore her. We ignore Her we all die... we shouldnt cover what others have. But should we not work towards unity n not defeat? If we keep the attitude of its their problem not ours...Or be satisfied to have less. We r not living but sub existence. That is not a life that God has ever intended. We were suppose learn from all this not sit in the comfort zone of defeat. But as a people, human beings... We were n still r arrogant n stubborn to think we r better than another! That is the problem. We r not above another, we r different but not superior to one another! But in the those difference find common ground. We r not so different to learn n accept from each other. We r alike more than we care to admit.. We here in Hawaii fight to keep our language, have what we call emersion schools to learn our own languages. N taken to court because we being prejudiced against other people entering our schools. Designated n entrusted for us the legitimate Hawaiian People n children of our schools here in Hawaii. Like u just mention different factions saying they r doing for the people n they r not. But just claiming what they think they r above others. Out of pure greed for themselves, not the people! Plus the added stupid factor of proving how much quantum of Hawaiian blood we have. To be considered one, we must prove that we r half. N documentation 4 generations up. Which is hard to prove when they know most of the documents were purposely destroyed. So one could not prove this! I think we all have factions n our own people that undermine their own people for control n greed! Which is sad n wrong. But what these selfish sos people dont understand. Is they will all soon be in the same boat. N until we r all on the same page, work together n get our heads out of our own asses. We do ourselves in, as the gov wants n hoping on! forbid if one is mixed breed like I am with everything under the sun, yes native american too! Then we have no place to say or do... We r mutts or in our Hawaiian language called a poi dog... Mixed breed! we can talk about all the atrocities that has ever been till the cows come home... We all know that what we learned in public school of history... Not the truth, nor the truth of atrocities written. N at present being publicized that is all never happened! To be completely erased... They cannot nor will it ever be erased! I walked around in life at one point not confused but complete!y torn of who I really was! Completely not being accepted! N constantly told to marry our own kind! Yet knowing in my veins I carried all nations in my blood! In my soul heart mind n body fighting to establish my identity n rise above all racial calamities. Fight to be apart of n accepted! Which part of me do I designate to be my own kind n marry? When all is my own kind! I understand today y our Creator made me all of what makes me unique n different, but equal to all! To have compassion n acceptance for all, to share our human experience, teach, care, understand, educate n rewrite the past history of atrocities! So we do not repeat them! I come from many a proud indigenous people, that spans the world around. Today as u say feel all the different bloods in me pulsing strong in my veins. Today I stand all of 5-4ft of me... Tall, strong, proud to be all I am! I am here a strong mixed race woman! N do not care if Im not accepted by others, for I know who I am n where all I came from! It is only important that I accept myself as our Creator accepts me n created me to be. N the purpose He put me here for! I am one of many in this world born with wisdom to heal, to bridge the gap of young n old, old n new, n all races. I am a warrior to fight against ignorance n stupidity in people via education n experience. So many others can have compassion, tolerance, understanding n respect for the other! I am no better than the next person, nor less than! I am ever humbled by my own n others hardships! I am honored n grateful for all the beautiful people that Creator puts before me! N have so much love n compassion in my heart for all lessons n experiences gained. That have become priceless jewels! We can talk about many atrocities that all our ancestors, people n we went thru n experienced! Or what people had it more harsher than the other. Does that all matter than the healing of all the nations from all of that crap, that is so severely needed?! Our focus should be on healing of the opened wounds that festers n further threatens. More hatred n animosity! A healing n bringing together is what we should be to focused on. Teaching our children who n where they came from! N to be proud, cultivate their gifts n prepare them. Be Cuz when we r no longer, they n the next generations r gonna need all the wisdom n strength to contend with this world we leave behind. N listen to them, for they r being born at a rapid rate to help heal this would! It is our responsibility to teach n prepare them! N then bridge the gap between their wisdom n the elders! So with this being said... I wish all light love peace harmony. Much blessings of abundance wisdom acceptance forgiveness n tolerance of ourselves n others... A ELDER HAS SPOKEN
