My friend and very smart guy and in INSANE shape Noel Strapp made a good point on a post about carbs, breakfast, cardio etc. Here is the deal about how I approach it and I am always learning more. For Fat Loss clients we get them to lower their daily carbs and we have them eat their carbs post weight training. With lots of protein, veggies, greens and essential fats. Once they get LEANER and more athletic THEN more carbs come in. The leaner and more athletic you are the more carbs you can handle. The fittest guys and girls I train eat TONS & TONS of food. The goal is to become strong, become athletic. ALWAYS. For fat loss clients I believe in "earning your carbs". Once your lean (IMO 10% for a guy and 15% ish for a female) carbs are not really an issue at all. "Eat More Train More" is my philosophy that I got about 15 years ago from Dr. John Berardi.
