My friend is a high school history teacher. He says this is the first year his students dont remember 9/11. We say Never Forget and mean it, but what does it really mean? I remember watching Letterman specifically to see how he would address those events the week afterward and he did not disappoint. So I share this as an example of the grief, hate, pride, love and resolve we experienced that terrible day and in its aftermath. A very funny man with some beautiful words about 9/11, New York and the United States of America.
