My friend sent this to me this morning. She lives in Lincoln Pointe: >> Yesterday morning there was a robbery in my neighborhood. The robber is believed to be a young male in an old beat up green SUV (Toyota Forerunner or Jeep). This vehicle was seen doing a 3 point turn in front of a neighbors house and then parking on the street in front of the house that was robbed. The robber walked around back and smashed the french doors leading to their breakfast nook to gain entry. Their security alarm went off, but he still went upstairs to my friends bedroom. He took her jewelry box, looked for medicine in the bathroom, and then walked right out the front door - all while the alarm was going off. A similar vehicle was seem in the area when a robbery occurred the day before on Route 993. I think I saw this vehicle/person entering our development at around 8:34 am (right after I put Collin on the bus), and my friends security alarm went off at 8:42 am. He did all of this really fast and in broad daylight. Please be careful today as you go about your business, and if you see an SUV in your neighborhood that fits this description take a picture of it with your cell phone. Thanks, and take care.
