My friends, I have good news! I have been accepted into the Chicago Theological Seminarys Master of Divinity program (MDiv)!!! CTS is a very liberal and prestigious seminary. They allow women and GLBT to become preachers. They are more focused on social gospel or social justice. They are behind many non profit organizations that serve the community. They also welcome Atheists and Agnostics into this program. CTS is affiliated with liberal denominations as such United Church of Christ (UCC) and Universalism-Unitarian Association (UUA). They do not take the Bible literally. They have a very liberal view of the Bible. So, this is a good match for me. Perhaps one day I will affiliate myself with one of very liberal or non-theistic denomination. I know that this announcement may confuse some of you. I want to clarify that I am still an Atheist. Nevertheless, I am still deeply interested in Theology. I will be still teaching theology, religions, church history, and philosophy in my vlogs. It is still my goal to pursue a PhD. I want to become a college professor one day. This MDiv is an important stepping stone to PhD. Getting a MDiv would qualify me to become a chaplain for hospitals, prisons, and the armed forces. I was worried that my unaccredited BA from a fundamentalist college would affect my future. CTS have assured me that it wont a stumbling block since I have an accredited MA from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. So getting into CTS have, for all, solved my problem for good. It will take me two years to finish my MDiv and I think it will take around four years to graduate with a PhD. It will be a hard path for me in next six years but I still have a burning passion to teach on such complex topics.
