My friends and followers of Jesus Christ...I leave for my mission trip to Nicaragua today...I love all you with the same love that Jesus loves…It was by Gods will that I was sent to go serve…Almighty Father God by your unmerciful grace you have given us new life in Jesus Christ, and by your Spirit you have called us to proclaim his name throughout the nations. You Father God have awaken in me such a love for you and your world that in this mission to Nicaragua I may so boldly proclaim Jesus Christ by word and touch that all people may come to know him as Savior and follow him as Lord; to the glory of your Name. Jesus Christ, Son of God, I pray that you make yourself known through me. Jesus Christ, Son of the living God, I pray that you speak through me to others…1 Thessalonians 5:16-25…Father God is a God of details, He knows them, and He wants us to know them too. Prayer is not when it is convenient or for short periods of time when we can remember; prayer is to be continual and persistent, it is the occupation of your soul. It may start small, but as you pray, it will grow. Your persistence to our Lord is key…Ephesians 6:18-20…praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints, and also for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains, that I may declare it boldly, as I ought to speak. Gracious and merciful Father God, I pray that through the Holy Spirit the people that you brought to me seek a deeper relationship with your Son, Jesus. I pray Father God that all members on my team we heed the words of Christ—“do not be afraid”—and strengthened by the Holy Spirit’s gift of courage, give witness to the Gospel and share our faith with others. I pray that all people yearning to know Christ and the Church may encounter him through the faithful who witness to his love in their lives. Loving God, our Father, strengthen us to become witnesses to the saving grace of your Son, Jesus, our Lord, who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. In Jesus Name…Amen
