My friends it is one thing that bothers me. For someone to imply - TopicsExpress

My friends it is one thing that bothers me. For someone to imply to support someone else when just a day before they supported a different candidate all hands in. Doing this just to try and tie their name to the candidate that won overwhelmingly thru a Tsunami of support of which they didnt support 24 hours earlier. This to me is a sign of selfish character and lack of integrity of an elected official. This is not an Ok I now am with the Republican Party and I support the nominated candidate. This is an incredible show of a man who only cares about himself, not the citizens of the Commonwealth of Virginia he is supposed to represent. There is going to be political fallout as a result of this. This being done the very next day after the nomination. I am tired of the selfish politics. I have had this happen to me by the same person so I know what I am talking about. A letter from Karl Leonard, the newly nominated candidate for the Office of Sheriff in Chesterfield Co, VA. Thank You and My Apologies Friends, What an exciting night and the overwhelming support for my campaign was humbling. I cant thank everyone enough for taking the time to come out to the Double Tree Hotel and staying there long enough for us to show our solidarity. I am the Republican nominee for Sheriff today because of the efforts of each and everyone of you! As we prepare for the March 18th Special Election, my last phone call to you Monday morning was a promise that it would be the last campaign call you would receive from us. Unfortunately, last night (Tuesday), another robo call went out from Senator Steve Martin in support of my campaign. This call was NOT authorized by myself or my campaign nor was it paid in any part by donations I have received from our supporters. I respect your time and know what it is like to receive call after call during campaigns and the last thing my campaign or I want to do is to intrude into your personal life after the grueling week we just had. Again, thank you for your unwavering support on Monday. It was a phenomenal turnout and you made a loud statement heard across Chesterfield! I will be back in contact with you and our plans for the special election on March 18th. Please be safe as you travel the icy roads today, Karl
