My friends, so many of you have posted up speaking against the evils of the Fb messenger app. because of a headline you read about/heard about of an article written about some potentially undesirable terms of service, but even your outrage about what it says in the terms of service - didnt prompt you to actually READ the terms of service. You blindly followed, bought in to the ideals of the angry mob, and took up arms. Im not defending the Fb app. wether its good or bad is irrelevant, but seeing so many people that I respect and admire for the way their minds works, their intelligence, their brilliance, blindly grab a pitch fork and join the march on frankenstiens castle just goes to show how easy hate has spread, anger has spread, and simple things can hurt and vilify and destroy. What if someone said something bad about people of a certain occupation, or of a certain religion, or a certain race, or gender. What if someone said something about you, and people blindly joined the angry mob against you. Wouldnt you want them to know? Wouldnt you be broken hearted at how little they wanted to know? Isnt it outrageous that people are more interested in joining the crowd than they are in knowing the truth. My friends, my idols, my heros, I ask you, is that who we want to be? As a people?
