My friends told me that sitting on electric cooker will cure bed-wetting – Woman A teen girl was seriously injured after her female relative forced her to sit on a hot plate because she wetted her bed, police in Nigeria said. Abuja Police said that they arrested Roseline Uzoamaka, after she was accused of burning 14-year-old Sarah, because she was wetting her bed. Uzoamaka forced the teenager to sit on the burning electric stove until the girl suffered severe burns to her private parts as punishment. Sarah is the younger sister of the suspect’s husband. During questioning, Uzoamaka confessed to the allegations, saying that her friends told her that sitting on a hot stove will cure bedwetting. The girl was rushed to a local hospital where she is still recovering after suffering from serious burns.
